Beachcomber / Strandläufer

I am most fascinated by beaches and over the years I sampled quite a collection of pictures of algae/seaweed. There is such a wide variety of shapes and colours, some species are clinging to rocks, some are washed ashore with the tide. They all look different whether still dripping wet or stone dried on the shore.

Ich liebe Strandspaziergänge und bin immer wieder fasziniert von der Vielfalt der Formen und Farben der Algen. Manche wachsen auf Klippen, andere werden von der Flut an Land geschwemmt, je nach Jahreszeit feuchtglänzend oder in der Sonne zu filigranen Gebilden getrocknet.
